Bandit and Darchy are Group winners!

Since last time I wrote we had a lovely time. Now all the snow is gone, and it's been quite pleasant here in Cornwall. We attended Plymouth and District show on the 14th of Feb where Bandit was Best puppy in breed. He is really enjoying his shows now. The next day we attended Terrier Club of Devon and Cornwall where I handled Mandy and Martin Green's CH Egloshayle Black Falcon Aka Smeagol, a handsome manchester terrier. I was second in the breed and 2nd in the Champion stakes. He went really well for me, and I enjoyed handling him a lot.The next weekend, off to Ilfracombe we went, where BOB and BPIB was Afilador George Gently owned by A Maynard. Bandit was 2nd to his brother with Grandad Reuben Winning RBOB and Auntie Kalusha winning BOS. Bandit also was 2nd in the AV Puppy stakes winning £20 . Afilador a hint of Jasmine owned by us and My parents also made her debut and was 2nd in AV Hound Puppy behind the Hound Puppy Group winner which was a lovely long haired Dachshund. The next day off to St Austell we went where Reuben was Best of Breed and Hound Group3. Bandit was BPIB and Hound Puppy Group 1 winner. Sophyla Sorcerer at Maysia was Best of Breed out of 5 Manchesters which inculded 2 champions, and then took the Terrier Group1. Darchy is just over 12months old! He has been down here on holiday for a week- we have really enjoyed having him here with us, he has fitted in really well with our pack. Thankyou to his owner our dear friend Sarah for letting him come and spend some time with us. We also caught up with Afilador Ginger Jones Aka Dyllan who was also down on holiday so stopped in at the show to see us He is a handsome boy and fingers crossed will be appearing in the ring later in the year! I stacked him up and moved him up and down for his owners who were very impressed to see him behaving so well. I will post some pictures of him soon.

Bandit's first show

Bandit attended his first show on 31/1/09 at Exeter livestock centre The show was run by Newton Abbott and District. Our judge was Mr H Ogden who had an entry of 7 ibizans which I must say was more than Bath Ch Show last year!
Tieryn and Maria Clark's Nueve Osamenor ShCM was Best Of Breed with our Kalusha Res Best Of Breed and Bandit was Best Puppy in Breed
Bandit then went on to win Hound Puppy Group 4 and 5th in the Puppy stakes under breed specialist Mr J Steel
I was delighted Bandit despite only attending 1 ringcraft session the week before the show behaved beautifully and showed like a proffessional
Jacob was entered not for competition and enjoyed his day out too He has started ringcraft classes last week he took it all in his stride
Billy won 2nd in his breed class I do think he is starting to enjoy his shows
The next day off to 3 countries we went and showed at Cheltenham and Dist Bandit won 2nd in AVNSC Hound Puppy behind an otterhound under judge Mr P Jones
It was Darchy's last show as a puppy we were Best Puppy in Breed and Res Best Of Breed and Terrier Puppy Group 2 under judge Mr Taylor
It was Dixie's first show and Sarah handled her to 2nd in AVNSC Toy open a proud moment to see little Dixie showing her socks off
We had a great day it was real fun around the ring and it was nice to catch up with Nicola Jeynes and Dodger Nicola is such a lovely person and we always have a real laugh we were also camped with some of my staffordshire bull terrier friend's from wales so great fun was had with them!
