2011 April

At Exonian show our Kalusha was best of breed and so was Raven best of breed I won an easter egg on the raffle so was very pleased and got home before 3pm!
The next day at st Agnes we won Best Of Breed with Kalusha and 2nd with Raven in his class
We attended Bodmin show where our Kalusha was best of breed and Raven was RBOB and at St Austell again Kalusha was best of breed
We attended SW Hound Club where our Kalusha was Best of Breed and Teiryn Clark was 2nd in the YKC handling with Bandit Nick won the brace class with Juno and Bandit
At westcountry Dog club Kalusha won BNSC Hound and Group 4 with Bandit in 2nd!
Raven was also 2nd in his class
We had a lovely weekend away and stayed in a travel lodge Teiryn came with us and we had a good time
I have managed to attend a couple of car boot sales which I love almost as much dog shows
Kasha has given birth to 4 gorgeous puppies 2 bitches and 2 dogs I am happy to report mum and babies are doing really well.
We attended WELKS ch show where we completed in AVNSC Hound classes where our judge Denise Barney awarded Bandit 2nd in open dog,Jasmine was 2nd in post grad bitch,kalusha was 3rd in open bitch.But the star of the day was our Juno who won her class and was RBB beaten by Sara Robertson's PBGV Soletrader Peek a Boo who was RBIS at Crufts this year!
We then won the breeders group with Jaz,Bandit and Juno and was 3rd in the Hound Group breeders group
Raven was 2nd in his breed class out of 4 and qualified for Crufts under breed specialist Lesley Norris
To end the month I judged Advent show were my BIS pedigree was a great dane with RBIS going to a whippet and BPIS going to a beligan shepherd
In the novelty section BIS was a lovely pair of rough coated russells and RBIS went to a gorgeous lurcher boy
Thankyou to everyone who attended and to the lovely girls who run the show and gave me a lovely box of fruit to say thankyou
It was lovely to judge a local show




March means Crufts!
we had a lovely day! Our kalusha was 1st in open bitch and RCC winner for the second year running,Bandit was 2nd in his class,Juno was 3rd in her class and Jaz was 1st in her class
Juno attended her first crufts as she has been out of the ring for almost 5 yrs she was beaten by her sister Fleur which was really great to keep it in the family
I had the great honor of handling Kevin Lewis's Shazzam for him we won RBD with him after winning 1st in open dog
Sadly I missed my class with Raven but nevermind there is always next year
My Kalusha won Best of Breed at Swindon which was really great
we attended Torquay show where our Kalusha was BOS,Raven was Best of Breed and Terrier Group 4
We attended Okehampton show where Kalusha was Best Of Breed,Hound Group 2 and Raven was 2nd in his class,Jaz was RBOB behind Kalusha and Teiryn did a wonderful job of handling Juno for me who was 3rd with Bandit in 4th
Reuben won the veterns and Maria Clark won the YKC handling and Teiryn won the JHA handling well done girls!
At Bridgwater Kalusha was Best Of Breed,Hound Group 4 with jaz in the RBOB spot and Raven was Best Of Breed
so another great month for our team x

2011 feb

we had a terrible start to the month while staying with us Dolly managed to escape and to cut a long story short she had a good old run around Camelford for 6 days while Sarah and I did not sleep aged 10yrs and was worried sick she turned up in the end and was happy to be back in the warmth of our home
Her sister Kasha was away in Swindon being mated and was confirmed pregnant so roll on april when we will have babies!
We attended some shows too after all the drama
At plymouth Bandit was Res Best of Breed and Raven was Best Puppy in Breed,the next day at central cornwall Bandit was Res Best Of Breed and again Raven was best puppy in breed
At Ilfracombe Raven was Best of Breed and Best puppy in Breed and Kalusha was BOS at her first show back since her BIS win at Bridgwater!
At Terrier club Raven was Best Puppy in Breed
so not a bad month for our team x

2011 january


we started 2011 by attending Taunton show where Afilador Moonlight shadow aka Bandit was Best of Breed,with Afilador a Hint of jasmine winning Res Best of Breed
Mansiya witch's familiar at Afilador aka Raven was Best of breed,Best Puppy in Breed and terrier puppy group 4
we then attended Yeovil open show where again Bandit was Best of Breed and Jaz was Res best of breed
I showed Kevin Lewis's gorgeous sloughi boy Shazzam and won best of breed with hm too
Thankyou to kevin for allowing me to handle the gorgeous Shazz
The next show was Exeter and County where again Bandit was Best Of Breed and Raven was Best of Breed,Best Puppy In Breed and Terrier puppy Group 2
We finished the month by attending Newton Abbott show where again Bandit was Best Of Breed,Hound Group 4 and 2nd in a strong stakes class
Raven was Best puppy in Breed and Terrier Puppy Group 3
It was also my birthday so I turned 35 and we visited Nick's parents for a long weekend in Peterbrough

Kalusha Wins BIS

We ended 2010 on a high with my Diecisiete Mandarina at Afilador ShCM winning Best in show at Bridgwater show
We won the Hound Group in hot competition under Robert Greaves and then Best in show under Marion Sargent
It was a truly wonderful day and we would like to thank both judges for their kind comments
Our Mansiya witch's familiar at afilador aka Raven won BPIB at Midland countries under breed specialist Margaret Clowes
I was delighted with this win too
